English in the university

Hello, today I will talk about my experience learning English at the university.

Well, I've never really liked English, I feel like I can't learn it very easily and that frustrates me a lot. I think my experience of learning English at university has been very different than at school. In my last two years of school they devoted a lot of time to English. There were 3 types, one was like the normal one, the other like the pronunciation forms (those weird letters in the dictionary) and the other was related to marketing. I had to work hard to get good grades because, as I said before, it has always been difficult for me to learn English.

Although I did well, I never felt any real learning. On the other hand, when I started with English 2 in college it was very different, it was still difficult for me but I felt that I could learn better.

When they told us we had to blog in English, I was very nervous. I've never had that experience before. It was something new. But I think they are a good idea because you can write about the things that you feel and that can help you vent if you don't have anyone to talk to.

One of the things that is most difficult for me is speaking spontaneously, trying to speak fluently without having a written script. Sometimes for practice I create conversations with myself or ask my boyfriend to help me create conversations and practice. And to better understand the audios in English I like to listen to songs and try to translate or, sometimes, I put a fragment of a series and try to understand.

I would really like to get to speak and understand English fluently because of what I study and for myself. It would be a great achievement

Well that's it. bye

My hobbie

Today I'm going to tell you about my hobbie. So I'll ask myself some questions to tell you

1.- Since when did I do it?

2. - What have I learned from him?

3.- Can you help me in the career I chose?

4.- Do I do it digitally or manually?

5. -Why did you choose this hobby?

1.- I think that since I was little my mom and dad bought me sketchbooks, colored pencils and many other things related to drawing. Sometimes I could be in my room all day drawing or painting. I also think that this hobbie grew thanks to the art attack. I saw him every day and I loved how he created with such simple things ... Sometimes.

2.- What I have learned most from this hobbie is to have more patience. It was all a matter of practice and when something didn't work I tried and ke
pt trying until it worked.

3.- I think that drawing is a great point for Architecture but not entirely necessary. I met people who said they were never good at drawing, but still did well. Also in the career itself you learn a little, since in the first year everything is manual.

4.- I really like both techniques. Using pencil and paper is very liberating. Lately I have used the digital technique. First I started drawing with a tablet and now I move on to a graphic tablet. I think I do better now. I'm obviously not the best, but that's why I strive to keep learning.

5.- I think this question is answered with what was said above but I want to say one more thing. One of the reasons I chose it is because I have a hard time expressing myself. I think this hobby helped me a lot to develop myself and leave a piece of myself with my friends. When I didn't know what to give, I started to think about what that person liked and gave him a drawing. You may think it is a small thing but for me it was something very important.

Well, that's all for today. Goodbye.

I leave you a drawing that I made for my friend. They are her two pets and a painting I made of my boyfriend

CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

Hello everyone, today I will talk about some things that I would change about the Architecture study program.

Well this is a very complex and time consuming career. Your subjects are quite demanding and time consuming.

Last year was my first year in this career. It was very difficult to change from school to university, it was a very big change.

I didn't have much time to have fun or rest, it was all study, study and more study. It was very tiring.

So far I find the subjects very necessary for my development as a future professional. All subjects leave a small or large teaching to work on other subjects. Although I do believe that the academic load is too much for a first year. I feel like it is something very demanding and exhausting. I'm not saying it's easier in the future, but a little softer and not as destructive.

Another thing that surprised me in my first year in architecture school was its buildings. I sincerely expected something very surprising, since it is the faculty of architecture.

Although I must admit that I really liked the 'titanic'. Hahaha.

Its dimensions were surprising and it also has a great name 'TITANIC' beautiful

Later I found out that the faculty was a cavalry in the past. That surprised me. I imagined how the horses entered the current classrooms.

Another surprising thing was the famous stone staircase. It's pretty cute but when you're in a hurry some class I don't like it very much haha

Well, I think that's it for today. goodbye

POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

Hello everyone!, today I will tell you about the type of postgraduate I would choose.

The truth has never thought about doing a postgraduate, since I still see it very far. I have only focused on what I am living now.

I had to do a little research on the types of postgraduate studies and the one that interested me the most was sustainable architecture. I feel that it is a very necessary type of architecture at the moment, since the planet is quite polluted. Therefore, the architecture must also be renovated to help create less toxic gases and so that people can live happily.

As I said before, I had not thought about this possibility, so it is still not clear to me if I would like to study a postgraduate degree in Chile or abroad.

Chile is a very beautiful and interesting country. I like a lot in subjects of its nature and architecture. It could be a great option to stay in the country but if I were abroad I would have more opportunities to learn new ways of thinking and doing architecture. In addition to different types of places, fauna and flora. It would be a very good experience.

I think that to pay it I would have to study and work, therefore it would be a partial study and not so dedicated but I would still do it with a lot of effort because I consider myself a person who likes studying.

I think that's it for today. Goodbye.

MY FUTURE JOB

Hello everyone, today I will write about some jobs that I would do.

I think the first job that comes to mind is something related to what I'm studying, I love architecture since I was little. I just knew it was something for me. Something that people always told me is that an architect doesn't make a lot of money in this country. I know but I don't really care, I study this career because I love it and I am passionate about it. Also, I always had the support of my family and that gave me more determination.

I never really did an architecture course or did a lot of research to see what it was all about. I always wanted everything to be a surprise to start from scratch and create your own vision from there.

I think that if I chose an option within architecture it would definitely be something with nature. Study how you can continue building without having to sacrifice nature or what makes it up, such as the flora and fauna of each place. Also, if I took this path, I feel that I would have a close relationship with the flora and fauna of each place and I would like that very much. Go to other countries and see how they differ both in architecture and in their natural landscapes. It would be fabulous

The best holidays ever

I think one of my favorite vacations was the summer of this year. I went to Lican ray with my father, my mother and two of my pets. One of my pets is Pepi, it's a very cute and cuddly guinea pig. The other is my dog Dima. it's very beautiful.
One of the things that makes me choose this vacation is because I went with my dog. It is my first dog in my life. So I felt it was very exciting to go out with Dima every morning and afternoon to the beach. It may seem very simple to some people, but for me it was very special.
Other than that. I loved this vacation because I love Licanray, it is small but quite entertaining and beautiful for its forests and the beautiful Calafquen lake.

Here is a photo of my puppy on the beach.

After arriving from the Lican ray.  I went with my boyfriend to camp to the Tabo. Before I didn't like camping very much because of the insects and the discomfort when sleeping but I think that now I like it a little more.
We woke up early and we went for a walk. Sometimes we just stayed resting in the tent.
One of the most difficult days was when there was a lot of wind. I thought our tent would fly off. I was very scared because the wind scares me but in the end everything went well and the next day I could enjoy the beach.

A PHOTOGRAPH

Hi everyone, I'm fan of taking photos of my pets because they're an important part of my life and I like to keep those memories. This photograph is very important to me since my cat blackie and I appeared. He is one of my most loving pets. My cat always meows to be petted because he is very loving and follows me everywhere. I think this photo was taken in 2014 for my boyfriend the day I adopted it. That day my friend took this cat to school for someone to adopt. No one wanted to adopt him because they found him "ugly", but as soon as I saw him I said I loved him and decided to adopt him. I don't regret that decision. Today he is still with me, the only sad thing is that lately he has had several health problems due to a urinary infection. It has been a difficult and sad situation. It is being controlled by the vet. He is still delicate and sick, but I am sure he will heal and be a happy cat again.
now will show you a photo of him in 2020.
